Programs

With our partners, the Christian Brothers and Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos, orphanage and the diocese of San Pedro, we will help and support you throught your whole experience. 

We promise to:

. work with you to establish some relevant and realistic objectives for your group

. four young person from the parish to accompagny you.

Schedule

Day 1 : Meeting with the coordinators at the airport, then you will be headed towards the city «San Pedro de Macoris» ; welcoming words. 

Days 2 to 14 : The program of your choice ( 7 or 14 days plan );

You will live in a Dominican family’s home, which means ...

. All meals will be taken with the family.

. The partici8pants must adapt to the family’s lifestyle and help out with the chores around the house.

. They must respect their standards and values.

Voluntary Community Service:

. Painting classes, offices and buildings ( 7 or 14 days plan ).

. Rebuilding and cleaning parts of the city (14 days plan )

Teaching English or French ( personnel project )

. Working in a local corporation in the village ( summer program )

. Working as a monitor in a children’s day camp ( summer program )

Educational activities, for example:

. The Haitian community ( Sugar canes ).

. The homeless community in Santo Domingo.

. Local industries: sugar canes, coffee and cocoa
