Message from Dominique.

4 years ago I have met Robert Laurin in the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo. Immediately there was confidence in me and promised me to help realize my dreams Two months later I have accepted inthe large family (sponsorship university) which is run by the Dominican experience.

Now, in a few months, I will have my degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. This opens doors for me throughout the Dominican society and my country of origin (Haiti). I am currently the vice president of the Association of Students in Diplomacy and International Relations of the Catholic University of Santo Domingo (AEDRI-UCSD). I have been involved in major events and cultural relations between the two countries, and I have to say thanks to the big family of Canada that has help me one way or the other.

In the photo you can see the President of the Dominican Republic, Dr Leonel Fernández Reyna and the Rector of the Diplomatic Academy d`Haiti, the Embassy. MIRTHO BONHOMME (back) and the girl in white (Vichy de la Fayette Thibeaud) and me who were doing the translation of the mission in Haiti.

I dont know how to say thank you to Canadien who believe in us. Be certain that the society here will be better.

Our friend Richard is a student in comunication in the Catholic University of Santo Domingo.

Thanks to you young people !

We are very fortunate to have the Dominican Experience involved in education in our country.

Thank you for making a difference in the lives of so many Dominicans. Most importantly, they establish the wonderful friendships that can be people contributing to society.

In the name of so many Dominican, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your contribution and assisting them in completing there university education. The amount of money make a tremendous difference in the education of poor people. They all have very much limited income, therefore this money goes a long way. Thanks to the Brothers that are responsible of the administration.

Thank you very much for your support.
