This course focuses on skills and knowledge to solve problems, make decisions, create a personal interpretation and present findings beyond the limits of a single subject or discipline in international . Through surveys and research conducted individually and in teams on contemporary issues, situations and careers, students apply the principles and skills in the areas studied and complementary disciplines, evaluates the reliability of information and examine ways to use information technology, effective and legal. Students also learn to choose strategies to define problems, seek innovative solutions to evaluate its reasoning in the decision-making process and adapt to change as it acquires new knowledge and living the program of the Dominican Experience on ground with the Dominicans.

New resources for the classroom on media and international development. Lessons on Agency for International Development from students that will live the Dominican Experience. During their stay we will produce a video and put it on the web site the same day.
Much of what we represent in the world comes from the media we see and hear. This is particularly true for places and things that we have not experienced ourselves, such as developing countries and international development efforts. Beyond the message the media: the representation of international development in the media strives to look at how the media influence our vision of developing nations and international development efforts, we can learn and create a critical view, and how we can become media authors to promote democratic citizenship.
This seven-day program allows students to create a video podcast in order to deal with aspects of international development. This exercise video production allows them to express different points of view, a balanced and unbiased,
Also, this will allow students to examine the role played by our celebrities who take a humanitarian cause in order to raise public awareness. Students will have the opportunity to discuss several questions!
